A Quilter’s Constellation: BOM

On your marks, get set, sew! September is here and so is the first instalment of the BOM. We will make 9 blocks and in June we will assemble the quilt. The quilt is going to be 52″ square when it is finished. Each of the blocks you make will be made in two parts: a
6 1/2″ pieced block with 3 rounds of triangles added to the block until it measures 13.” In the last post I talked about your colour choices. No matter what colours you choose, these yardages listed are what you will need. All┬ámeasurements are based on 42″ wide fabrics. The theme will be Stars and revealed one per month. The instructions for each block will be posted only for the first 10 days of the month.

.5m of light background fabric, used in each of the blocks

We hope that you enjoy this adventure in quilting and friendship…Valerie & Joan
